About Us

Kevin is an independent financial planner with an educational focus in Cary, North Carolina. Security Financial is a specialized full-service financial firm helping clients obtain a strong and prosperous retirement. We have partnered with Triangle Advisors Group which has allowed us to create complete and comprehensive financial plans for our clients.

Kevin was born in Delaware, Ohio, just north of Columbus. His family moved at an early age to Richmond, Virginia, where he spent his formative years. Kevin graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

Kevin began his career in the financial services industry when he joined Asset Protectors and Advisors Group in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he spent over a decade designing lifetime income, wealth transfer strategies, and healthcare protection plans, ranging from the simplest to the most complex. He has trained and instructed hundreds of individuals and advisors around the country on the real power of financial tools as they pertain to wealth building, tax elimination, and risk mitigation. Kevin’s expertise centers in the fields of investment taxes, wealth enhancement, and income planning.

Since graduation from UNCW and embarking on his career, Kevin has built a lovely life with Rachael and their two beautiful children: Jackson, age 17, and Reagan, age 14. He is active in his community and enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. He tries to squeeze in a little golf and fishing when he can.
